It had everything that money could buy

It had everything that money could buy.

It could even buy money.

Everybody was happy.

Then came the darkness and everyone masked their fears.

Especially the adults.

The children watched and thought this was how life was.

They never understood what happiness could be.

The adults waited and waited for someone to help them.

They did nothing except wait.

And the longer they waited, nothing happened.

There’s no moral to this story.

Except perhaps that waiting for things to happen might never come.

However, working together to make different good things happen might just help take that half empty glass and fill it with plenty of happiness.
